At Your Disposal (AYD) Waste Services, an Austin, Texas, dumpster rental and construction recycling company, signed contracts to service two school remodeling projects and a home demolition in the Austin area.

Austin’s housing crunch has sent many families farther out into the suburbs in search of affordable homes, and area school districts have been constructing new schools and expanding existing facilities to accommodate all their new students. This has led to more school-related contracts for At Your Disposal (AYD) Waste Services, an Austin-based dumpster rental and construction recycling company.

This past summer AYD signed two new contracts for projects at the Manor Independent School District (MISD), located in Manor, Texas, about 12 miles northeast of Austin. Design firm Interior Design Concepts contracted AYD during their remodel of Manor Middle School. AYD supplied a 40-yard roll-off dumpster to recycle pallets, and another 40-yard roll-off dumper for recycling plastic and cardboard.

The second contract was with Balfour Beatty Construction, the company MISD hired to carry out the Manor High School expansion and remodeling project. Currently AYD is supplying one 20-yard roll-off dumpster for trash, with weekly pickup and hauling services.

“The Manor Independent School District is preparing to double in size over the next five years, and district officials believe the total student population could go from 9,000 students to 18,000,” noted Chuck Herb, owner of AYD Waste Services. “As construction and expansion projects continue, we’re happy to offer our services, not just during the projects at MISD, but to other school districts as well.”

Besides the two school projects, AYD also landed a recent contract with Benjamin Construction, Inc., during the demolition of a large home. AYD supplied two 40-yard roll-off dumpsters for recycling and trash collection.

“A house or building demolition can create a great deal of waste and debris,” Herb says. “When we work with a contractor such as Benjamin Construction, we take care of all of the debris that is generated during the demolition. Many of the waste materials, principally the discarded wood, drywall, concrete and other types of masonry, can be collected and taken to an area recycling center, and that’s exactly what we do.”
